Be Bold To Make Your Faith Proclamations. Pastor Anita Oyakhilome

We having the same spirit
of faith, according as it is
written, I believed, and
therefore have I spoken; we
also believe, and therefore
speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).
Proclaiming what you already
believe in your heart
strengthens your spirit and
causes the Word to be
active in your life. Our
confessions of faith change
and transform us, causing us
to experience the realities
of the Gospel in our lives.
Therefore, always boldly
proclaim the Word in faith.
Believing what God says and
confessing the same will
change your life. This is
because there ’s power in the
Word, which gives it the
ability to change hopeless
situations and cause
circumstances to conform to
God ’s plans and purposes
when applied.
God created the world by
His spoken word. He said
“ let there be...” (Genesis
1:3, 6, 14), and there was!
In other words, whatever
He spoke came into being.
Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “for
he hath said, ...So that we
may boldly say.... ” He taught
us to boldly make our faith
proclamations. Jesus taught
us the same when He said in
Mark 11:23 ‘you shall have
whatever you say.’
So we learn from Scripture
that God talks
faith,therefore we ought to
be that way as well for “as
He is, so are we in this
world ” (1 John 4:17). When
you speak God’s Word in
faith, the Spirit of God
causes it to come to pass.So
today, proclaim the Word
boldly in faith concerning
any challenging situation you
may be facing.
Remember,what you say is
what you get, so speak the
Word boldly and create the
realities you want to see in
your life.
Prayer
Dear Father, I declare that
circumstances are turned
around for my good, and I ’m
blessed beyond measure
today as I speak forth your
Word in faith. I receive the
blessings of the Spirit
through the Word into my
life and declare that my
mind is renewed,and my life
transformed by the latent
power of your Word, in
Jesus ’ Name. Amen.

You Can Discern And Walk in God'serfect Will. Monday, Pastor Anita Oyakhilome

Thy word is a lamp unto my
feet, and a light unto my
path (Psalm 119:105).
As believers in Christ, we’re
enjoined to grow unto
maturity in the things of
God (Ephesians 4:13).
This admonition is not just
for some class of Christians,
such as ministers of the
gospel, but for every child
of God. A clear evidence of
spiritual maturity is the
ability to discern and walk in
God ’s perfect will for your
life. God’s Word is His will
expressed. And as the
Psalmist describes in our
opening scripture, the Word
is a lamp; it ’s a light which
gives direction and guidance.
So, you need to know God ’s
Word, as that’s the only
way you can understand and
walk in His perfect will for
you.
Often times, God’s will is
different from what natural
signs tell you, and what your
feelings or those around you
may tell you. The things of
God don ’t appeal to the
senses, for they are
spiritually discerned: “But
the natural man receiveth
not the things of the Spirit
of God: for they are
foolishness unto him: neither
can he know them, because
they are spiritually
discerned” (1 Corinthians
2:14).
This is why it’s so vital that
you know the Word, and are
acquainted with God ’s Spirit
through fellowship. Galatians
5:16 says “This I say then,
Walk in the Spirit, and ye
shall not fulfil the lust of
the flesh. ” Walking in the
Spirit means walking in the
light of God ’s Word, being
able to discern and walk in
His perfect will,
notwithstanding what your
senses tell you.
Praying fervently and
consistently in tongues is
equally very important in
discerning and walking in
God ’s perfect will, as it
keeps your spirit attuned
and sensitive to the Holy
Spirit. As Pastor Chris says,
prayer times are moments of
heavenly glory and spiritual
ecstasy as your spirit is
refreshed and your
sensitivity to the Spirit is
enhanced. As you fellowship
with the Lord through
prayer it becomes easier for
you to receive direction and
guidance in your spirit.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I’m so
grateful for the privilege of
feeding on your Word this
day. I thank you for
ordering my steps and
directing my paths by your
Word and the Holy Spirit
who is at work in me to
know your will and walk
therein, in Jesus ’ Name.
Amen.

Be Aglow With The Spirit!. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Ever lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit serving the Lord (Romans 12:11 AMP).
The heart’s desire of any Christian should be to please the Lord by doing His will and fulfilling His call. Many sincerely want to do this but don ’t knowhow. So you hear them say, “I want to serve God with all my heart; I want to be on fire for Him but I don ’t know how to stay consistent in the things of the Spirit. ”
What such folks need, first and foremost, is to be constantly filled with the Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, you can ’t do anything for the Lord that will be acceptable to Him or that’ll make any impact in the world. That ’s why Ephesians 5:18 says, “And be not drunk with wine wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit. ” The next verse tells us how to do this: “ Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord ” (Ephesians 5:19).
Secondly, be careful not to listen to your feelings or emotions for they ’ll lie to you. That you “felt” close to God on a certain day doesn’t mean you’re spiritual, or that you sometimes “feel” far from God doesn’t mean God has left you or is far from you. Our closeness to God has nothing to do with how we feel on a certain day. Somebody said “I prayed to God and I didn’t feel as though God heard me; the prayers didn ’t seem to have gone beyond the ceiling. ”
Well, you never needed to feel like your prayers went through the ceiling to God for He ’s under the ceiling with you; He lives in you. So don ’t rely on your emotions or feelings in relating with God; rely on His Word. God is a Spirit, and He relates with your spirit through the Word.
Thirdly, learn to speak in other tongues fervently and lavishly. This is one of those blessings the Holy Spirit has brought into our lives Speaking in other tongues regularly will activate your spirit until you ’re filled to overflowing. The Apostle Paul in writing to Timothy, said, “… stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the[gracious] gift of God, [the
inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands …” (2 Timothy 1:6 AMP). If you would consciously take advantage of the aforementioned by giving attention to them, your life will constantly be aglow and you ’ll know no downtime in your walk with the Lord.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for the immense benefits of being filled with the Spirit.Thank you for your Word that inspires faith in me today. As I charge my spirit right now by speaking in other tongues my zeal and passion for spiritual things is fanned to flame, in Jesus ’ Name. Amen.

Your Name Is A Confession - THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23RD - Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee(Genesis 17:5).
All over the world, people bear names that represent different things. Some names represent personalities, landmarks or events, and they ’rehanded down from one generation to another. Many times, Christians have found themselves bearing names that contradict what they believe. Those names were handed to them by their forbears, and not many ever bothered to find out the meaning of those names to be sure they ’re consistent with who we are today in Christ.
It’s no use answering the name that contradicts what you believe about the Gospel and who you are in Christ, for it can work against you. The name you answer is a major confession in your life.As you answer that name you ’re continually confessing the meaning of that name. If you study the Bible, you’ll notice how God changed the names of several people. Before their names were changed, they lived the life of the name they bore. When God changed their names, their destinies also changed.
Abraham, for example, which means father of many, used to be called Abram, meaning “exalted or assumed father” (Genesis 17:5). He and his wife were without a child until their names changed to Abraham and Sarah. Isaac ’s son, Jacob is another example.
His name meant “one that takes by the heel; deceiver”.
In today’s rendition, that would mean, “swindler, fast guy, or scammer.” Of course, he grew up to answer his name; he deceived hisfather, cheated his brother, and remained a cheat until God met him and changed his name (Genesis 32:27-28).
To answer a name means that you agree to, confess and endorse the meaning and import of that name in your life. That ’s why you ought to answer only names that are consistent with God ’s purpose for you; names that glorify God ’s Word and are consistent with your identity and position as a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for giving me a new name according to your divine plan for me. I ’m a success, a victor, and more than a conqueror; I ’m not just the effulgence of the glory of God, my name is “the glory of God”! Prosperity, divine health, joy and peace are all mine, in Jesus ’ Name. Amen.

A SUPER BEING INDEED! PASTOR ANITA OYAKHILOME, TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 21,2010

These things have i written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God (I John 5:13). As a born again child of God, the Father wants you to know that the life in you now is not the natural human life you got from your human parents when you were born into the world. That human life was supplanted by divine life —the God-life —when you were born again. So you’re not just a mere man but a superbeing indeed, born into God ’s class. Notice from our opening scripture the importance God attaches to you knowing that you have this life in you! He wants you to “know,” that means comprehend, come to the awareness, full perception, have the knowledge and be sure of what you have, and who you are: “… thatye may know that ye
have eternal life. ” He
wants you to know that
you ’re a super-being
indeed; one that’s
superior to satan,
sickness and disease
and has authority over
the powers of darkness.
God wants you to have
this knowledge about
yourself because the
consciousness of your
personality affects the
way you live, the
decisions you make,
and how you eventually
turn out in life! It
controls what happens
with you and around
you.
There’re folks who
think we will only have
eternal life when we
get to heaven. Some
others believe it ’s just
a life that goes on and
on without stopping; it
includes that, but
much more. Eternal life
is actually the nature
of God imparted to us
upon receiving Christ
into our hearts, thus
making us
indestructible,
“ uninfectable” and
superhuman.That’s the
life Jesus brought to
the world when He said
in
John 10:10 “…..I am
come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ”If you believe in Jesus, this God-life is what you ’ve received into your spirit. The very pulsating life of Christ is the life working in you now, and God wants you to be conscious of it and live that supernatural life naturally. This is why Pastor Chris teaches that Christianity is not a religion, but the life of Christ lived out in you every day! Jesus
lived a very supernatural life; and that ’s the life He’s
given you. It’s therefore imperative that you live and walk in the consciousness of
the reality of the God- life in you.Know that you can ’t be defeated, for this triumphant life of Christ in you has made you a super-being indeed.
Praye:
Dear Father, thank you for the victorious life you ’ve given me in Christ. I live and walkin the consciousness of this life today and always, and I declare that satan and all the challenges he may pose are under my feet. Victory, success, health and prosperity are mine, in Jesus name Name. Amen. Further Study 1john 5:11-12-And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. GIVE NO PLACE TO SICKNESS IN YOUR BODY!.MONDAY,SEPTEMBER 20, 2010 PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

What? know ye not that
your body is the temple of
the Holy Ghost which is in
you, which ye have of God,
and ye are not your own?
(1Corinthians 6:19).
As a believer in Christ, your
body is the temple of the
Holy Ghost. But you ’re the
custodian or caretaker of
your body. Thus, you have
the right todetermine what
happens to, and in, your
physical body.
As the watchman over your
body, it ’s your responsibility
to give no place to sickness
in your body, for you stand
to give account to God for
whatever you allow or
disallow in your physical
body. You ’re to permit in
your body only those things
that are consistent with the
Word of God for your life.
That means you ’re to give no
place to sickness, disease or
infirmity in your body!
Sickness cannot stay in your
body if you don ’t allow it.
Your body can only get sick
when you endorse sickness,
for until you endorse it, it ’s
nothing but a mirage. No
wonder the Bible says they
that dwell in Zion shall not
say “I am sick” (Isaiah
33:24). So as one who’s born
again refuse to be sick. Take
charge and rule over your
body with the Word of God;
refuse to yield your body to
sickness.
When you sense the
symptoms of sickness in your
body, refuse to consider
them for they ’re nothing but
lying vanities. They only
become real when you say
they are, because what you
say is what you get. This is
what the Word of God
teaches in Mark 11:23, “…
he shall have whatsoever he
saith. ” Therefore, never say
“I have headaches,” or “I
have the flu,” or “I’ve got
migraines,” or I have
“diabetes”; never endorse
sickness.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, how
gracious and loving you are
to me. Thank you for making
my body the temple of your
Spirit. I ’m continually
strengthened with might in
my inner man as the
anointing of your Spirit runs
through every fibre of my
being, making me sickness
and disease-free, in Jesus ’
Name. Amen.

PREACH THE GOSPEL! SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19,2010. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Walk in wisdom toward
them that are without,
redeeming the time. Let
your speech be alway
with grace, seasoned
with salt, that ye may
know how ye ought to
answer every man
(Colossians 4:5-6).
In fulfilling the Lord’s
injunction to spread
the Good News of
salvation all over the
world, the Church has
taken advantage of
several innovative means
such as television,
radio, satellite,
telephone, and the
internet to reach many
more people at once. As
effective as these are,
there’s still a kind of
evangelism that we
ought to pay serious
attention to; it ’s the
“house to house” and
“street evangelism,”
where you reach people
one-on-one with
theGospel. Many think
this has become old-
fashioned, but it ’s not.
The Apostle Paul, in
Acts 20:20-21 said he
preached the gospel
“ publicly” and from
“house to house.”
Publicly, meaning he
preached openly, and
then from house to
house, means he
preached the gospel to
people one-onone, in
their privacy. However,
to engage in this kind
of one-on-one
evangelism today and
have results, you have
to employ the wisdom
of the Spirit. That’s
because you may find
yourself talking to
people who are evasive
or simply uninterested,
or even completely
averse to Christianity.
Thus, a wise approach
is required to get their
sustained attention.
The Apostle Paul
demonstrated this in
Acts 17:22-23, when
he encountered a group
of religious people with
different persuasions
at Mars’ Hill: “Then
Paul stood in the midst
of Mars ’ hill, and said,
Ye men of Athens, I
perceive that in all
things ye are too
superstitious. For as I
passed by, and beheld
your devotions, I found
an altar with this
inscription, TO THE
UNKNOWN GOD.
Whom therefore ye
ignorantly worship, him
declare I unto you. ”
Through the wisdom of
God, Paul was able to
get their attention and
preach to them. He
didn ’t accuse them of
being stupid or foolish.
Neither did he call
them idol worshippers
even though he noticed
that they worshipped
many gods, including
one that they called
“ The Unknown God.”
While acknowledging
their religiosity, he
used the opportunity of
their ignorance to
teach them about this
“ unknown God,” and
shared with them the
mysteries and
revelations of Christ.
Learn to approach
those you want to talk
to about Jesus with
wisdom. That way,
you ’re very likely to
communicate the gospel
more excellently to
them. Remember, our
message is good news,
and it ’s intended to win
people to Christ, and
not to condemn. Even
when preaching to
those you know are idol
worshippers of the
various religions of the
world, don’t talk to
them against their
religion. Just present to
them that which they
have not known —Christ
—and they’ll be more
likely to accept your
message than to turn it
down and become
violent.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you
for giving me the grace
and the opportunity to
be a soul winner.
Today, as I preach the
Good News to people in
my sphere ofcontact, I
do so in wisdom. My
words are
communicated to them
with grace, seasoned
with salt, by the power
of the Holy Spirit, in
Jesus ’ Name. Amen.

REFUSE THE CARES OF THISLIFE. SATURDAY,SEPTEMBER 18,2010 PASTOR ANITA OYAKHILOME

And take heed to
yourselves, lest at any time
your hearts be overcharged
with surfeiting, and
drunkenness, and cares of
this life, and so that day
come upon you unawares
(Luke 21:34).
The parable of the sower
that Jesus told in Mark
chapter 4 shows us the
reason the Word of God is
unfruitful in the lives of
some Christians: “And these
are they which are sown
among thorns; such as hear
the word, And the cares of
this world, and the
deceitfulness of riches, and
the lusts of other things
entering in, choke the word,
and it becometh
unfruitful ” (Mark 4:18-19).
So, when you find yourself
not bearing the right fruits
after the Word of God has
come to you, such that the
Word is not producing
results and keeping you
steady in the way, it’s
because you’re receiving the
Word among thorns.
“Thorns” here refers to “the
cares of this world, the
deceitfulness of riches, and
the lusts of other things. ”
These things choke the
Word of God in people ’s lives
and make it unproductive,
thus resulting in many not
living to their potentials in
God. 1 John 2:15 says “Love
not the world, neither the
things that are in the world.
If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is
not in him. ” Refuse to allow
the cares of this present
world douse your love for
the Lord or dissipate your
zeal for spiritual things.
Our opening scripture says
“ take heed to yourselves,
lest at any time your hearts
be overcharged with
surfeiting. ” God doesn’t want
your heart to go after the
things of this life. He
doesn ’t want you
overwhelmed with the cares
of this life. He wants you to
set your heart on Him and
give Him your whole
attention. He wants you to
guard your heart and make
it a fertile ground always
for His Word to not only be
deep-rooted, but to produce
the desired result.
Proverbs 23:26 says “My
son, give me thine heart,
and let thine eyes observe
my ways. ” One way to do
this is to constantly
meditate on the Word as
the Lord admonished Joshua
in Joshua 1:8. When your
mind is full of God this way,
your concerns will be
centered on how to please
Him, and you won ’t find
yourself going after the vain
things of life.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you
for the blessing of your
Word and for teaching me
how to keep my focus on
spiritual things and set my
love on you at all times. My
heart is fixed on you today,
to serve, love you and know
you more, and nothing in the
world can distract me from
the pursuit of your will and
purpose for my life, in
Jesus ’ Name. Amen.

YOUR LIFE IS NOT YOURS. FRIDAY,SEPTEMBER 2010. PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

For none of us liveth to
himself, and no man dieth
to himself. For whether we
live, we live unto the Lord;
and whether we die, we die
unto the Lord: whether we
live therefore, or die, we
are the Lord ’s (Romans
14:7-8).
Instances abound all over
the world of people who, out
of frustration, took their
own lives. Their reasons vary
from being fed up with life
and frustrated with society
to outright self-defeat. It’s
true that no one takes his
own life joyfully, but a
closer look would reveal that
no matter the justifications,
such acts are not only the
products of selfishness and
self-centredness but also of
ignorance of God ’s Word.
As Christians we need to
realize that we don ’t own
our lives, the Bible says
we ’ve been bought with a
price (1Corinthians 6:20);
we belong to Christ. None of
us lives to himself, and none
dies to himself. So, if you
don ’t live to yourself,
there’ll be no reason to give
up on life; there’ll be no
reason to be so self-centred
as to contemplate suicide.
When the realization that
God owns your life dawns on
you, you ’ll become more
concerned with what His
purpose is for your life, and
the desire to fulfil that
purpose would be the staying
force of your life. Take a
cue from the Apostle Paul,
even at a time he was
convinced he had fulfilled
God ’s purpose for his life he
said, “For to me to live is
Christ, and to die is gain.
But if I live in the flesh,
this is the fruit of my
labour: yet what I shall
choose I wot not. For I am
in a strait betwixt two,
having a desire to depart,
and to be with Christ; which
is far better: Nevertheless
to abide in the flesh is more
needful for you. And having
this confidence, I know that
I shall abide and continue
with you all for your
furtherance and joy of
faith; (Philippians 1:21-25).
How inspiring! He chose to
live to be of benefit to
others.
Even if you think you’ve
fulfilled God’s purpose for
your life, still choose the
honourable way of being a
blessing to others. To
undertake suicide means that
one has chosen to live to
himself or herself; he or
she has decided how long to
live and when and how to
die. This certainly isn ’t the
way for a Christian; a
Christian should, on no
account, contemplate taking
his own life, for your life is
not yours.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for
making your Word available
to me today; your Word
indeed is a lamp unto my
feet and a light unto my
path, guiding me inthe path
of life, to live for your
glory, in Jesus ’ Name. Amen.

Offspring Of The Word. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Thursday, September 16th,2010

Of his own will begat he us
with the word of truth,
that we should be a kind of
firstfruits of his creatures
(James 1:18).
In our opening scripture, the
Apostle James shows the
Christian as an offspring of
God ’s Word, in just the
same way Jesus is revealed
as the Word of God made
flesh (John 1:14). Thus the
Christian is born of the
Word;we ’re offspring of the
Word. God gave birth to us
through His Word. So, as
Jesus came forth of the
Word, we also are given
birth to in the realm of the
spirit to be like Him through
the Word.
The Apostle Peter in his
epistle puts it this way:
“ Being born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the Word
of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever ” (1 Peter
1:23). So as a Christian,
your life is the life of the
Word; you hail from the
Word. This happened when
you received the Word of
God, the gospel of Christ ’s
salvation, into your heart to
be born again. The promised
eternal life was imparted to
your spirit, and from that
moment, you were awakened
to the fatherhood of God.
From then on the nature of
death ceased to be, and the
corruptible human life was
supplanted with God ’s divine
life.
Can you now see that you’re
not an ordinary person if
you ’re born again? Christ has
taken up His abode in you,
and you ’ve become one spirit
with Him. No wonder the
Bible says you ’re a partaker
of the divine nature (2 Peter
1:4); for as Jesus is —the
Word made flesh—even so
have we been made offspring
of the Word.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank
you for the entrance of
your Word has enlightened
and catapulted me unto
higher realms of glory today.
I thank you for the great
love you ’ve bestowed upon
me wherewith I’m qualified
to be a partaker of the
divine nature! I go forth
today conscious of my
identity as an offspring of
the Word, with the
incorruptible life of God in
my spirit, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

Faith Makes The Difference! Pastor Chris Oyakhilome ,September 14,2010

Therefore I say unto you,
What things soever ye
desire, when ye pray,
believe that ye receive
them, and ye shall have
them (Mark 11:24).
Some Christians have asked
“ how do I receive answers to
prayers?” “I’ve prayed and
prayed and yet nothing
happened, ” they’ve
complained. Some, in
frustration, have given up on
prayer completely. If only
these folks understood the
faith-principle, they wouldn ’t
experience such frustrations.
God didn’t say if you pray
hard enough He’ll answer
you; rather, He says
“ whatever you desire when
you pray,believe that you
receive them and you shall
have them ”(Mark 11:24).
That’s what faith is all
about. You must
understand that your
requests in prayer don’t take
God by surprise; He doesn’t
start considering whether or
not to answer you at the
time when you ’re praying.
Matthew 6:8 says “…your
Father knoweth what things
ye have need of, before ye
ask him. ”
If He already knew what
you wanted before you
asked, it means He already
had the answer prepared.
So,what is needed to make
the answer real to you is
your faith. That’s what
makes the difference! In
addition, in Luke 12:32,
Jesus, assuring us of the
Father ’s willingness,eagerness
and readiness to answer our
prayers said, “Fear not,
little flock; for it is your
Father ’s good pleasure to
give you the kingdom.”
Therefore, if you asked for
something and didn ’t get the
answer when you wanted it,
the problem wasn ’t with God
answering your prayer,
perhaps you didn ’t know how
to receive.
God already said when you
ask, believe that you receive
and you shall have. So, when
you put up a request before
God, receive what you ’re
asking for by
declaring, “Father I’ve asked
for such-and-such,
therefore I receive it now in
the Name of Jesus. ”
Remember, you don’t say “I
receive it,” so that you can
have it; you receive it
because you know and trust
that it ’s yours NOW! That’s
faith at work. Faith doesn’t
try to get something to
happen; faith knows and
accepts that it has happened
and therefore confesses and
endorses it to be so NOW!
Confession
I live and walk by faith and
not by sight; I ’m not moved
by what I see, feel or hear;
I ’m moved only by the Word
of God! I declare that my
life is going forward and
upward only and nothing is
impossible unto me.
Hallelujah!

Believe And Do The Word! Monday September 13,2010

A young man once
asked me, “Pastor
Chris, how can I make
the Word of God
effective in my life ?”
This question is quite
similar to the one the
Jews put to Jesus in
John 6:28-29: “Then
said they unto him,
What shall we do, that
we might work the
works of God? Jesus
answered and said unto
them, This is the work
of God, that ye believe
on him whom he hath
sent. ” Believing the
Word, and then doing
what it says is the way
to make the Word
effective in your life.
It ’s not enough to
believe the Word, you
must act on it. Acting
on God ’s Word is what
faith is.
To believe in the Word
is to believe in Jesus,
for Jesus is the living
Word. Doing the Word
is proof that you
believe it. Jesus said if
you love me, keep my
Word (John 14:15);
that means do my
Word. The Word of
God is for doing. It has
the potentiality and
capacity to reproduce
itself and bring about
whatever it talks about
if we act on it.
The blessings and vital
experience of the
realities of the Word
of God is for the doer.
The Apostle James
revealed this in his
epistle: “But whoso
looketh into the
perfect law of liberty,
and continueth therein,
he being not a
forgetful hearer, but a
doer of the work, this
man shall be blessed in
his deed ” (James
1:25). The blessing is
in doing the Word, not
just believing it.
Believing is not enough,
for the Bible says even
the devils believe and
tremble (James 2:19).
God’s Word has
creative power that
comes into effect once
ignited by the force of
faith! So hearing the
Word produces faith in
you, for faith comes
by hearing (Romans
10:17); but acting on
it causes your life to
move from glory to
glory.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you
for making me a
partaker of your life-
changing Word. I ’m
made a better person
daily by the power of
your Word. The Word
is working mightily in
my life because I ’m a
doer and not just a
hearer. I thank you for
empowering me to
impact my world for
Jesus Christ through
the power of your
Word and your Spirit
working effectually in
me, in Jesus ’ Name.
Amen.

Share God’s Love - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH - Pastor Anita Oyakhilome

And hope maketh not
ashamed; because the love
of God is shed abroad in our
hearts by the Holy Ghost
which is given unto us
(Romans 5:5).
The Bible tells us in 1 John
4:8 that “God is love”; His
very nature is love, and you
have His love-nature in you
as one who ’s born again.
That means all of God’s love
is in your spirit, so you can’t
have more of God’s love than
you already have today.
According to our opening
scripture; “…the love of God
is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost which is
given unto us (Romans 5:5).
The question then is what
are you going to do with all
of this love that ’s in your
heart?
John 3:16 gives us an
example of what to do with
the love of God, it says,
“ For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only
begotten son ….” God so loved
us and reached out to us
even at a time when we
didn ’t know Him or care
about Him! He sent Jesus to
win us and reconcile us to
Himself, not counting our
sins against us. He did this
for us in Christ Jesus.
And now the Bible says in 2
Corinthians 5:19 that God
has committed to us the
ministry of reconciliation.
We have the responsibility
of reconciling others to Him.
We’re to reach out to our
world; to the hurting and
the loveless that have no
hope and give them the love
of God that ’s in our hearts.
But to do this you need to
be filled with the Spirit; you
actually can ’t share God’s
love except you’re filled with
the Spirit. So if you haven’t
received the Holy Spirit, you
can do so even now. Say this
in faith: “Heavenly Father,
in the Name of the Lord
Jesus Christ, I receive the
Holy Spirit into my heart to
live in me, to help me share
your love to others. ” The
Holy Spirit is the One that
energizes you to do the work
of God and share His love
with others.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you
for your love that ’s in my
heart; It’s the same great
love wherewith you’ve loved
me! I make a difference in
my world today as I touch
everyone I meet with your
love. The world will see and
acknowledge your love in my
life to the glory and praise
of your Name, in Jesus’
Name. Amen.

BE PASSIONATE ABOUT SPIRITUAL THINGS

This I say then, Walk in the
Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil
the lust of the flesh
(Galatians 5:16).
The life of faith we’ve been
called to as Christians is a
spiritual one, hence you
must be passionate about
spiritual things. There ’re
certain important things you
must do to be ruled by the
Spirit of God. Firstly, you ’ve
got to study the Word to
know it. This way, you ’ll
become familiar with the
voice of God ’s Spirit.
Secondly, you have to train
your spirit to respond to
God by acting on the Word
promptly without delay. Back
in the Old Testament, God
instructed the children of
Israel not to delay. He said,
“ be not slothful to possess
the land” (Joshua 18:3). In
other words, don’t be slack
or slothful. This in a sense
parallels His admonition in
Romans 12:11: “Not slothful
in business; fervent in spirit;
serving the Lord. ”
Thirdly, have a clear desire
to grow spiritually, and
focus on spiritual things.
Besides praying fervently and
studying the Bible regularly,
make attending church
services, meetings and
programs in your local
assembly a top priority. The
Bible says “Not forsaking
the assembling of ourselves
together, as the manner of
some is; but exhorting one
another: and so much the
more, as ye see the day
approaching ” (Hebrews
10:25).
Stressing the importance of
being passionate about
spiritual things, Jesus said
in Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are
they which do hunger and
thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled. ” The
proof of desire is pursuit;
you can ’t really desire
something and not go for it.
If you ’re truly hungry and
passionate for spiritual
things your hunger will be
satisfied. So have a burning
zeal to grow in the things of
God. Pursue your desire for
God with your resources
such as time, money and
attention, and prayer.
This is important because
what you desire is not just
going to show up except you
pursue it. All of these will
help you drown the voice of
the flesh, and the Spirit will
gain the mastery in your life.
The voice of God ’s Spirit will
be clearer to you, and you’d
live the glorious life every
day.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for
your Word is a light unto
me; it clears the darkness
from my path and enriches
me daily. I thank you for
showing me howto live the
victorious life. I live by faith
and not by sensory
perceptions. I dominate the
circumstances of my life
today and declare that all
things are working together
for my good, in the mighty
Name of Jesus. Amen.

Romans 8:5-8
Rom 8:5 For they that are
after the flesh do mind the
things of the flesh; but
they that are after the
Spirit the things of the
Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally
minded is death; but to be
spiritually minded is life and
peace.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal
mind is enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the
law of God, neither indeed
can be.
Rom 8:8 So then they that
are in the flesh cannot
please God.

The Bible—God’s Special GiftTo Us!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and
is profitable for
doctrine, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and
is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for
instruction in
righteousness: That the
man of God may be
perfect, thoroughly

works (2Timothy

FAITH ALWAYS WORKS

NOW FAITH is the
assurance (the
confirmation, the title
deed) of the things
[we] hope for, being
the proof of things
[we] do not see and
the conviction of their
reality [faith perceiving
as real fact what is
not revealed to the
senses] (Hebrews 11:1
AMP).
Sometimes, people have
a little confusion about
what faith is. You hear
them make statements
like, “But I believed! I
actually had faith, how
come it didn ’t work?”
The truth is, you
actually were still in
the arena of
believing, and not of
faith. Believing is not
faith. If what you had
was faith then it ought
to work, for faith
always works.
The Bible describes
faith for us as the
substance of things
hoped for, the
evidence of things not
seen (Hebrews 11:1).
That means faith calls
real what you hope
for; those things you ’ve
been expecting, that
looked so far away,
have now become your
present-hour
possessions, not
because you can now
physically touch them,
but because faith sees
them as real. Faith is
the evidence that you
have them now, even if
they ’re invisible to the
physical eyes; faith is
all the proof you need.
Through faith, your
spirit takes a hold of
something you ’ve hoped
for and lays claim to it.
That ’s when you
declare, “I got it!”
From then on, never
say you didn ’t get it. If
at the point of faith,
you declared you were
healed, you don ’t have
to keep checking your
body to see whether or
not the condition has
changed, or whether
the symptoms have
disappeared. That
wouldn’t be necessary,
for the evidence you
need to prove you ’re
healed is not the
disappearance of the
symptom, but the
Word of faith in your
spirit.No one who has
faith should say “I
don’t know why it’s not
working.” Thinking that
way is proof that it
wasn ’t faith. Faith isn’t
when you’re trying to
believe for something;
rather, it ’s the
acknowledgement that
what you ’ve been hoping
for has become yours.
It doesn ’t matter if
your physical eyes can’t
see it; what matters is
the reality of it in your
spirit.
Confession
My faith is alive and
working. I refuse to
entertain doubts in my
heart, for I know faith
always works. My faith
is the victory that
overcomes the world;
it ’s also the only proof
I require to know that
the things I ’ve hoped
for are now my
present-hour
possessions
Mark 11:

you, That whosoever
shall say to this
mountain.Be you
removed, and be you
cast into the see; and
shall not doubt in his
heart, but shall believe
that those things which
he says shall come to
pass; he shall have
whatsoever he says.
1 John 5:
4: For whatsoever is
born of God overcomes
the world: and this is
the victory that
overcomes the world,
even our faith.
Romans 4:
16: Therefore it is of
fatih, that it might be
by grace; to the end
the promise might be
sure to all the seed:
not to that only which
is of law, but to that
also which is of faith
of Abraham; who is
the father of us all,
17: (As it is written, i
have made you a
father of many
nations) before Him
whom he believed, evn
God, who makes alive
the dead, and calls
those things which be
not as though they
were.
18: Who against hope
believed in hope, that
he might become the
father of many
nations: according to
that which was spoken,
So shall your seed be.
19: And being not weak
in faith, he considered
not his own body now
dead, when he was
about a hundred years
old, neither yet the
deadness of Sarah's
womb:
20: He staggered not
at the promise of God
through unbelief; but
was strong in faith,
giving glory to God:
21: And being fully
persuaded that, what
He had promised, He

MORE THAN JUST A TOUCH

Let the children come
to me! Don ’t try to
stop them. People who
are like these little
children belong to the
kingdom of God …Then
Jesus took the children
in his arms and blessed
them by placing
his hands on them
(Mark 10:14, 16 CEV).
One time, little
children were brought
to Jesus that He
should touch them. His
disciples tried to stop
them from coming to
Him, but the Bible says
“ ...when Jesus saw it,
he was much
displeased, and said
unto them, Suffer the
little children to come
unto me, and forbid
them not: for of such
is the kingdom of
God ” (Mark10:14).
When Matthew
reported the same
story, he only said
Jesus touched the
children (Matthew
19:15), but Mark ’s
account says Jesus
“ ...took the children in
his arms and blessed
them by placing his
hands on them. ” What
Jesus did was more
than just a touch; He
imparted a blessing to
them. Some people
don ’t understand this,
so they miss out from
taking advantage of the
blessing. When they
have the opportunity of
being touched by an
anointed minister of
God, they think it’s
just an ordinary touch.
I would to God they
realized what that
blessed touch could do
in their lives! When
anointed hands are
placed on you, they
direct the forces of
life towards you and
invoke spiritual powers
in your favour; the
favour of God is
awakened on your
behalf. That
impartation of blessing
distinguishes you from
everyone else, and
causes you to prosper.
Also, as one who’s born
again, you’re anointed,
thus every single thing
you touch is blessed!
You have supernatural
power in you, and when
you touch someone or
something, divine power
is released. Be a
blessing to others
today. You have more
than a touch. It ’s an
Impartation.
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you
for the wonderful
revelation of your
Word to my spirit
today. I ’m sensitive to
that special touch of
the anointing that
imparts your grace. I
thank you because
whatsoever I touch
today is blessed, in the
Name of Jesus. Amen
Matthew 8
15: And He touched
her hands, and the
fever left her: and she
arose, and ministered
to them
Matthew 20:
34: So Jesus has
compassion on them,
and touched their
eyes: and immediately
their eyes receive
sight, and they
followed Him
Luke 7:
12:Now when he came
near to the gate of
the city, behold, there
was a dead man carried
out, the only son of
her mother, and she
was a widow: and many
people of the city was
with her
13: And when the Lord
saw her, He had
compassion on her, and
said to her, weep not
14: And he came and
touched the boy: and
they that bore him
stood still. And he
said, Young man, I say
to you, Arise.
15: And he that was
dead sat up, and began
to speak, And He
delivered him to his
mother.

Named After A BlessedExperience - MONDAY,SEPTEMBER 6TH - PastorAnita

You were lost sheep
with no idea who you
were or where you were
going. Now you ’re
named and kept for
good by the Shepherd
of your souls (1 Peter
2:25 MSG).
Some parents name
their children on the
basis of certain
experiences they might
have had before or
during the conception
of that child. The Bible
tells us of Jacob who
at birth held on to the
heel of his twin
brother, Esau, who
actually came out first
from the womb. When
his father saw this, he
named him “Jacob,”
meaning “deceiver or
schemer.” The name
stuck and the young
lad grew up to be a
deceiver. He cheated
his brother and got the
right of the firstborn.
He however couldn ’t
walk in the fullness of
the blessing because
God doesn ’t walk with
deceivers. God had to
first change his name
before he could enjoy
the fullness of the
blessing.
God also names us with
certain factors or
considerations,
nonetheless upon
blessed experiences. If
you ’re born again, He
names you, not by the
suffering experience of
Christ on the Cross,
but by His victory over
death, sin and the
grave. By virtue of your
new birth, God has
given you a new name.
It doesn ’t matter what
your past was like;
you ’re not a failure,
neither are you
disadvantaged anymore.
Now, you ’re a success,
a victor, and more
than a conqueror.
Names are very
important because your
life is programmed to
become whatever you ’re
called. So, answer the
right name. You have a
new name in Christ.
We ’re a new creation,
and the righteousness
of God in Christ Jesus;
a chosen generation, a
royal priesthood, a holy
nation, a peculiar
people; called to show
forth the praises of
Him who hath called us
out of darkness into
his marvellous light
(1Peter 2:9). You ’re not
“the poor” trying to be
rich; you’re “the rich”
discovering his
inheritance. You’re not
“the sick or the weak”;
you’re “the strong.”
These are your new
names that you must
answer.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank
you for you ’ve given me
a name that uplifts. I
refuse to be known by
the negative ways the
world may try to
describe me. I see
myself only in your
Word and call myself
by the glorious name
you ’ve given me, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Isaiah 61:6
But ye shall be named
the Priests of the
LORD: men shall call
you the Ministers of
our God: ye shall eat
the riches of the
Gentiles, and in their
glory shall ye boast
yourselves.
Isaiah 49:1
Listen, O isles, unto
me; and hearken, ye
people, from far; The
LORD hath called me
from the womb; from
the bowels of my
mother hath he made
mention of my name.

Pastor Chris has declared
September a month of
expansion! He instructed
everyone to meditate on
Isaiah 54:2-3. It says,
"Enlarge the place of thy
tent, and let them stretch
forth the curtains of thine
habitations: spare not,
lengthen thy cords, and
strengthen thy stakes; for
thou shalt break forth on
the right hand and on the
left; and thy seed shall
inherit the Gentiles, and
make the desolate cities to
be inhabited".
You must have adequate
structures in place to take
