2011 MESSAGE PART 2

And what God wanted us to do in
2010 was to begin to study more
of God ’s word understand it,
digest it, and find our place in
that greater light, because there
was much more to come.
Oh it doesn ’t matter what your
experiences might have been in
that year. You might have gone
through certain things, but it was
because you didn ’t know who
you really were. You didn’t know
that you were supposed to be
functioning in the greater light.
You didn ’t know.
And many Christians have been
functioning by the lesser light, so
they live their lives in the night
of life. And in the night of life,
there ’s a lot of problems, in the
night of life there’s a lot of
difficulties. In the night of life
there ’s a lot of hardship. There’s a
lot of confusion in the night of
life, and so things happened that
you don ’t understand. You
wonder why there’s a lot of
wandering in the night of life and
how many Christians all over the
world have found themselves in
the night of their lives.
Because they are functioning in
the lesser truth, they are asking
God for what already belongs to
them, they are tying to get what
they already have. They are
journeying to a place where they
are actually coming from. What a
life, they are functioning in the
lesser light, and therefore live in
the night of their lives. There ’s a
greater light to rule the day, it
rules the day; it functions in the
day. And when you begin to
understand life in the greater
light, you ’d be amazed; you’d be
functioning in the day of your
life. All the things are made
manifest by the light. Then you’d
begin to understand that your
body is just your house where
you dwell and that your body is
not you.
Your spirit takes dominion over
your physical body because your
body belongs to you, it is your
house. You take dominion over it
and then you live a greater life –
praise God. No wonder He says
‘ count it all joy when you go
through diverse tests’, hallelujah.
No matter what happens to you,
he says ‘count it all joy’. Why?
Because you know you are a
victor in this life. Because he says
greater is he that is you, than he
that is in the world. It becomes
your daily confession, no matter
the difficulty, no matter what
challenges, you jus keep saying:
‘ greater is he that is in me than
he that is in the world’, ‘greater is
he that is in me than he that is in
the world ’. It becomes your
consciousness; it becomes your
everyday confession. You ’re not
trying to make it happen; no it is
your life, glory to God. We don ’t
confess those things so that they
would happen. No, we live there.
Our confession establishes our
understanding. We make the
confessions as the declaration of
God ’s word, and it establishes our
understanding of God’s word. It
makes that which we have
understood to stay – then it
works!! Glory to God!! Are you
still in this place?
DON'T SAY ANYMORE: WHAT DOES
THE YEAR HOLD FOR ME
Tell somebody this is 2011. Say it
again; this is 2011. Alright, let me
tell you something, you know
many times when a new year
comes, people are saying I don ’t
know what this year will bring.
You know, they say: “last year
brought a lot of problems I hope
that this year would bring
something good ”. Even amongst
us when we say this year is the
year of the greater light, or we
say this year is the year of
advancement, or this year is the
year of glory, what many think is
that, that means the year is
bringing glory, the year is
bringing the greater light – all of
this kind of things.
No the year doesn’t bring
anything. The year doesn’t bring
anything, because the year, the
new year is not a person. The
year is inanimate, the year
doesn ’t have intelligence - the
year cannot bring something to
you. The year was never made
to bring you anything. So don ’t
say, I don’t know what this year
is going to bring. The year is not
going to bring anything, don ’t
expect the year to bring
something. Don ’t look and say,
oh what does the year have for
me? The year doesn ’t have
anything for you. It is something
that God wants me to tell you.
Are you hearing me? The year
doesn ’t bring anything. He never
made us to have the year
dictate the circumstances of our
lives. The year doesn ’t bring
anything.
And from this year, God is guiding
me to begin to help you to
understand how He really wants
you to think. And this year would
mark a special milestone in your
personal lives, because you ’re
going to begin to journey into
another level. The dyke is being
raised for you. There ’s a new
understanding that the spirit of
God is bringing to you. Hallelujah.
And God wants you to know
what your own responsibility is.
Oh don ’t say what will this year
bring?
Let me give you the thought this
other way. Many times some
people say I ’ve been a Christian
for more than twenty five years;
I don ’t know what Christianity
has done for me.
I ’ve been in the ministry for
twenty five years; I don’t know
what the ministry has done for
me.
I ’ve had the Holy Spirit for
twenty years; I don’t know what
he has done for me. My brothers
and sisters in Christ, Christianity
does not do anything for you.
You don ’t ask what has
Christianity done for me, you ask
what have I done with
Christianity. This Christianity that
you have embraced, that you
have received, what have you
done with it? You don ’t ask what
has the word of God done for
me? Rather, what have you done
with the word of God? What have
you done with Christianity? What
have you done with the Holy
Spirit? What have you done for
the ministry? So in 2011, you'd
begin to answer those questions.
What are you going to do with
2011? Glory!
WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT
Jesus said in Matthew 5:14, ye
are the light of world. That's
because we are the children of
light. Ephesians 5:8. ‘For ye were
sometimes darkness, but now
are ye light in the Lord: walk as
children of light: ” He says walk as
the children of light. Say “I’m a
child of light”, say it with me. Can
we say what he says? “In 2011,
I’m going to manifest that light.
I’m going to let my light so
shine!” That means it's your
responsibility to let your light so
shine. In 2010 I ’m going to let
my light so shine! Make your
light shine! You ’re the child of
light. Say, “I'm going to let my
light so shine! I am the light of
the world, everywhere I go. ” On
the left hand on the right hand,
everywhere I go I am the light
of the world.
HE WAS A BURNING AND A
SHINING LIGHT
John 5:33-35. “33Ye sent unto
John, and he bare witness unto
the truth.34But I receive not
testimony from man: but these
things I say, that ye might be
saved. 35HE WAS A BURNING
AND A SHINING LIGHT: and ye
were willing for a season to
rejoice in his light. ” Jesus makes
this declaration about John: he
was a burning and a shining light.
In Genesis there were two great
lights; one was a burning and a
shining light, the other only a
reflective light. John was a
burning and a shining light. Can
God say this about you?
Jeremiah 20:9 (King James
Version) – “Then I said, I will not
make mention of him, nor speak
any more in his name. BUT HIS
WORD WAS IN MINE HEART AS A
BURNING FIRE SHUT UP IN MY
BONES, AND I WAS WEARY WITH
FORBEARING, AND I COULD NOT
STAY.”
The word was burning in his heart
even though he wanted to keep
quiet. This year the word would
be as a burning fire. You cannot
keep quiet. This year Lord, I will
be a burning and a shining light. I
told you, God is showing you
something, and you are going to
do something with it.
2011 IS MY YEAR AS A BURNING
AND A SHINING LIGHT
In 2011, I'm going to make my
light so shine. I'm going to be a
burning and a shining light
throughout the year 2011. In
prophetic language the scriptures
said Elijah would come again;
Jesus showed us John was that
other Elijah. Zechariah 10:1 “Ask
ye of the LORD rain in the time of
the latter rain; so the LORD shall
make bright clouds, and give
them showers of rain, to every
one grass in the field. ”
The prophet was thinking about
the power of the spirit when he
says bright clouds. Another
translation calls it thunder bolts
from heaven, and fiery clouds.
Peter and the other apostles also
received it on the day of
Pentecost; the bible says:
tongues of fire, and they
preached the word with boldness
afterward. Jesus said anyone
who believes in him, out of his
innermost being shall pour out
rivers of living waters. Peter was
a burning and a shining light,
while he was talking the Holy
Ghost fell. That is a burning and a
shining light. That is the anointing.
Jeremiah said he wouldn't preach
again but the word was in him as
a burning fire shut up in his
bones. When you pray, say “Lord
I’m going to be a burning and a
shining light in 2011. The word of
God would be as fire shut up in
my bones. I'm going to burn for
God. I ’m going to shine for God. I
am the greater light. I rule the
day and the night. ” God is saying
I want you to know that I love
you, all the glory that I have
reserved they belong to you.
Wow! I'm going walk in the glory
of God 365 days. I'm a child of
the light. This is my year as a
burning and a shining light!
